Shift Thermal, an Oak Ridge-based start-up that is an alum of the Innovation Crossroads program, is looking for a forward thinking partner willing to invest some time and resources in exchange for being on the cutting edge of cooling, working with the company on a field demonstration this summer.Co-Founder Mitch Ishmael told us that the company in the inaugural cohort of the program just sent out the first commercial version of its thermal battery for cooling. “It clearly shows that we can deliver a product, but this customer had a very particular set of needs. We want to show with this demonstration that there is a repeatable and scalable business case.”
