Founders' Forums are monthly informal gatherings where entrepreneurs can hear talks, learn lessons, and participate in Q&A sessions with program alumni, community members, and experienced startup founders.

Lilly Tench, Director, Spark innovation Center

Lilly Tench is dedicated to using innovation and entrepreneurship to tackle global challenges.  With over ten years of experience, she has supported entrepreneurs in various industries, including energy and agriculture.  Early in her career, Lilly designed sustainability education programs and helped manufacturers improve their environmental impact.  She later helped launch an innovation center for entrepreneurs at Newlab, now home to over 800 entrepreneurs.  Lilly also supported cleantech researchers at Columbia University and agtech innovators at AgLaunch.  She holds a BA in Peace and Social Justice from Berea College, an MBA, and an MS in Agricultural and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Tennessee.  Currently, she serves as the Director of the Spark Cleantech Accelerator at the University of Tennessee Research Park.
